Since 2015 the Hoffmanns have helped attract several high-end restaurants to their buildings, including The French and Sails. More building purchases are in the works downtown. In a little over two years, the real estate company has amassed more than 20 properties in the Naples area, valued at more than $300 million. Most of the buildings are clustered around Fifth Avenue South or Third Street South. Another big announcement is expected in a few weeks, with negotiations under way to purchase another well-known local business. The Hoffmanns continue hunting for other opportunities to add to their real estate and business holdings in Naples. The family, he said, is exploring the idea of building a restaurant on Third Street South, and it's looking to buy "a couple of other" downtown eateries. It's just a pretty exciting little restaurant," he said. We like the atmosphere a lot, the food, the people that run it, the people that work there. However, the Hoffmanns do plan to ask the city to allow live music on the deck, Hoffmann said. No changes are planned to the menu, the staff or the operating hours. ![]()
